Comparing my work with existing products helps to develop my ideas as it reminds me what the audience would want to see and how to convey this through the products. My own magazine is different to these shown, however I was not aiming for it to be exactly the same - it is more important that it matches the conventions of these existing products, which comparig helps me to ensure.
